Overall good condition; does have some scratches/scrapes, and I would recommend a repaint, but I would describe the condition as good to very good condition, considering the age of the hood.
Primary Color:Black Warranty:No Brand:Ford Placement on Vehicle:Front Manufacturer Part Number:F3LY16612A

Up for auction is a hood from a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. I would consider it to be in very good condition for its age, and would not hesitate to use it on my own personal vehicle if I needed it. The only thing I can see that it needs is a good cleaning and paint. It does have some scratches, and, obviously, black is especially prone to fading, especially black paint that's been exposed to 20+ years of sun and weather, so even if your Mark VIII is black, the paint may not match exactly without having the hood repainted. Besides that, I can't think of anything wrong with this hood. It may not be as smooth to the touch around the edges as it was when it was new, but for a 20+ year old composite/fiberglass hood, I think it's in excellent condition. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I prefer cash upon pickup, but will also accept PayPal, as long as the item is paid for in full prior to pickup. Thanks.

Mercedes ML 63 AMG (2012) tease Back in June we had the debut of the 2012 Mercedes ML, but as is the norm for new car reveals from Mercedes the M Class we saw didn’t include a suitably bonkers ML 63. That was for later. And now it is later and the 2012 Mercedes ML 63 AMG is going to bow in at the L.A.

Dodge Hornet nears reality

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 25 January 2007 06:56 Isn’t the Dodge Hornet just another look-at-me concept car? The waspishly named – and styled – Hornet concept was shown at last year’s Geneva Motor Show, but it’s edging closer to a showroom near you. Thomas Hausch, Chrysler group’s international director for sales and marketing, told CAR Online that plans were moving apace for a production version of the butch supermini.

Audi A1 – the design tease

Mon, 18 Jan 2010

Audi are teasing the design of the new A1 in this latest video (below) If you’ve been living in a cave for the last few months you may have missed the news that Audi is about to launch what it hopes will be a MINI-bashing offering – the Audi A1. The A1 is actually destined for a public launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March – and Audi has threatened full disclosure for next month – but in the meantime it’s on a ‘Teaser’ blitz. We haven’t reported on every tease (we didn’t bother with the ‘Look – the new A1 has headlights’ one last week), but we have covered some, like the graffiti advert.
