I am parting out a 1996 Mercury 9.9 4 stroke model# 9.9MLA4ST because of a broken off spark plug and some corrosion issues in the water jacket area of power head. The motor turned over great with nice spark otherwise. Up for bid here is the ignition CDI box complete with ignition coil and spark plug wires, mounting bracket and cover that is in excellent condition. This should fit other years of both Mercury and I think some Yamaha motors, both the 9.9 and 15 h.p. Please do your research before buying to be sure it will fit yours.Thank-you for looking!
