Porsche 911 Targa revealed at 2014 Detroit Motor Show
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Porsche has revealed an amazing retro-inspired new 911 Targa at the Detroit Motor Show – an open-top model that boasts a ‘wide bar’ look almost identical to the Targa style that went out of production two decades ago. First introduced back in the 1960s, Porsche’s return to the original Targa style has been combined with modern electrically-opening roof technology… and with models arriving in showrooms from this May, it’ll be an on-road retro reality before you know it.

We had a set of photos of the 911 GT3 RS 4.0, and just about all the specs you’re likely to need, so there seemed no point in not publishing what we had. But, as we said yesterday, that amount of information on a yet-to-be revealed car would force Porsche’s hand.
Top Gear tops iPlayer most watched list of 2013
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Rex The BBC's flagship motoring programme Top Gear dominated the most popular shows watched on the iPlayer on-demand service in 2013, new figures reveal. The Africa Special part one was the single most watched programme, with 3,422,000 views last year, the BBC said. More and more people are watching programmes on catch-up via their computers, tablets or phones: a record three billion shows were streamed on iPlayer in 2013, a rise of 33% on the previous year.
