This will encompass any 2004-2006 Nissan Quest odometer, fuel gauge, temp gauge LCD screen, like the one pictured. This repair is for the LCD screen ONLY.

When you purchase/win this auction you will need to remove your Instrument Cluster and package it in protective bubble wrap.  Send it to me however you like fed-ex /ups /usps.  You are responsible for the shipping cost to me.  I will pay to ship it back to you.

Common questions: 

1. Can I drive my vehicle with cluster removed?------Yes, your vehicle will operate normally but it will cause an airbag fault code due to the cluster not communicating with the other modules. This can be cleared with most modern scan tools.  The code is not set unless you cycle the ignition without the cluster attached.  If it sets and you don't have a modern scanner here is the reset procedure: 

       a. Turn the key from off to on.

        b. Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key off instantly.

        c. Count to 5 (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi . . . .)

        d. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times.

        e. Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry.

        f. Now turn the key off again, Count to 5 like in step 3 again, and turn back on. If the procedure worked, the airbag light will not be

2. How long does the process take?-----Its all shipping time!  so how ever long that takes. we ship priority mail so that portion is only three days at most. 

3. Will my mileage change?-----none whatsoever. The mileage accumulation has been working despite the display issue so it will remain accurate.

4. Is my cluster difficult to remove?---there is only a few push tabs holding the bezel and then 4 Philips screws holding the cluster then three wire plugs in the back and that's it.  About 5-15 min depending on your skills.   

Shipping Note:

We do our very best to package and protect your cluster but the post office does break and lose items occasionally.  This is true no matter who you use or buy from.    We request you remove the lens if you are capable prior to shipping to reduce its exposure to damage. Its just on there with clips.  You can ship as little as you want down to the green board with the LCD attached if you are so comfortable with that level of disassembly and reassembly.    This is the cheapest auction on eBay for this repair.  We do not cover breakage of the removable lens during transport.  There is 100.00 in USPS insurance on ever shipment.  You will be directed to the USPS for any damage claims.
