And it'll need every new model it can lay its hands on, amid a profit warning and a 30 percent collapse in profits this year. The company certainly loves catchily titled grands projets; following hot on the heels of the Nissan Revival Plan, Nissan 180 and Value-Up, it’s now announced the Nissan GT 2012 plan – spelling out the company’s strategic aims for the next five years.

McLaren MP4-12C problems haven't stopped production The McLaren MP4-12C is McLaren’s first road car in almost twenty years, and it appears that the new 458 competitor from Woking has a few problems. Reports have been cropping up for some weeks that MP4-12C owners have been plagued (well, plagued is harsh) by a raft of problems including a battery drainage issue (something many cars suffer from early on), headlight condensation and glitchy door operation. McLaren are adamant none of the issues affecting the 12C are safety related and it is therefore continuing to build the cars, so although there will be a delay for some new owners in delivery, the issues should cause no long term back log in deliveries.

We also checked out a used Porsche race car on Bring a Trailer and looked at which Formula One teams are not at risk of collapsing. We awoke on Tuesday to see video of a helicopter crashing during filming of “Top Gear Korea.” We looked at the interior of the McLaren P1 and saw some shots of the Alfa Romeo 4C before its reveal at the Geneva motor show.
