MINI Goodwood sets up shop in Harrods The MINI ‘Inspired by Goodwood’ has taken up residence in Harrods’ window to celebrate the first customer deliveries. For those prepared to fork out £41k – that’s £18k for the Cooper S donor car and £23k for the Rolls Royce bit – you get a Cooper S with the bonnet off a MINI One, Rolls Royce coloured paintwork, posh alloys and an interior that takes more than an average herd of cows to cover.

New (2014) Mazda 3 revealed – no prices yet

The new Mazda3 (pictured) arrives – and it looks good. The Mazda3 is already a better car than its sales would suggest, and the all new Mazda3 looks to be even more competition for the Ford Focus and VW Golf than ever before. Perhaps the only complaint about the Mazda3′s design is that it looks a bit too much like a shrunken Mazda6, but that’s a bit like moaning the DB9 looks like the Vanquish (well, the Mazda3′s not that good looking, but it makes the point).

First of five free Suzuki S-Crosses collected

SUZUKI has come over all charitable with the news that it has given away the first of its free S-Cross models that are up for grabs. Entrants to the competition had to nominate someone they knew to receive a free S-Cross car – and well-equipped models, too – with a brief explanation of why the nominee deserved it. The first to pick up their free new 14-plate crossover were a ‘very surprised’ Phillip Southward and wife Sue, who collected their SZ4-spec S-Cross at Suzuki’s RRG dealership in Stockport.
