Vauxhall Adam SUV/Crossover on the way
Thu, 10 Oct 2013Vauxhall Adam SUV/Crossover on the way based on the Rocks Concept (pictured) The Vauxhall/Opel Adam is now finding its way on to our roads, and it’s a decent – if slightly generic – take on the funky little urban runaround. But GM have big plans for the Adam and want to create a car that can compete on level terms with cars like the MINI and Fiat’s 500. So the Adam comes with plenty of personalisation options and daft names to let younger car buyers create the car they want.
Bio-Fuel Skycar to go in to production
Fri, 17 Apr 2009Parajet's Skycar looks set for road-legal production in 2010 [ad#ad-1] Three months ago we brought you news on the plans of London Company Parajet International Ltd to take their Skycar on a trip to Timbuktu. Well, not only was the trip a great success – they arrived in Timbutu on 26th March – but the Skycar is now destined to go in to production next year. Bedfordshire Company Rage Motorsport, best known for producing Buggies, is to partner with Parajet to produce completely road-legal versions of the Skycar, with Rage producing the cars/buggies and Parajet adding the bits to make it fly (which makes sense!).
There's a 2015 Ford Mustang convertible on the way, too
Thu, 05 Dec 2013Almost immediately after the Ford Mustang debuted, buyers could choose from three body styles -- a hardtop, a rag-top convertible and a fastback (which actually came out a few months later than the hardtop and convertible). We already knew that the 2015 Mustang will arrive as a fastback (sorry, notchback partisans), but Ford has just announced that a drop-top version is also in the works. Pictures of the convertible sport a shiny "5.0" badge on the side and and chrome "GT" badge on the back, but we assume all the standard engines -- the 5.0-liter V8, 3.7-liter V6 and that new 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four -- will be offered.
