MINI Countryman goes WRC

MINI Countryman WRC - MINI are going rallying again Back when Adam was a lad (as was I, coincidentally) Mini were big in rallying. In fact they wiped the floor with just about everyone else in the ’60s, winning the Monte Carlo Rally three times in the decade. And now BMW are planning a proper foray back in to WRC with a MINI Countryman WRC prepared in conjunction with Prodrive and featuring a 1.6 litre turbo from BMW Motorsport and AWD.

Volvo C30 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) revealed

The Volvo C30 BEV Revealed is probably a bit strong as Volvo hasn’t actually rolled out a car for the world to see. But it is a plan – and internal evaluation, apparantly – of an electric Volvo C30. The Volvo C30 BEV is a logical step for Volvo to take for the small C30.

In what’s being touted as a world first for a car brand, a new Mini Connected App enables GoPro cameras to be controlled via the dashboard – meaning shooting a film is now as easy as changing a song on the audio unit. This makes it possible to start shooting with a camera mounted on or inside the car while travelling.
