OK Here we go! I always forget some small detail so PLEASE CALL me with questions--Glad to help with your MOPAR project! We have been racing and building Mopars for near 30 years now--our shop is in same location over 20 years in heart of NASCAR country near Charlotte, North Carolina--we have sent engines to almost every state and more than 7 countries--We KNOW MOPAR--it is all we do!

OK--This started as a super nice core--Jan 73 date 340-block was Ampro blasted and baked for perfect clean--mag checked--full pro machine run, plate honed cylinders , decks squared etc, factory crank reground and micro polished, new Clevite bearings, resized rods, balanced on HINES digital, correct 340 damper, Sealed Power pistons with file fit rings yield perfect 9.6:1 compression--will make great power on pump gas, all time favorite 340 street cam specs at 228 at 050 with 480 lift--this is a classic combo that will melt tires, bark second yet run the power brakes and AC and you can drive it anywhere! NICE cam sound yet not too big!  Heads are "915" castings with 202-160 stainless valves, hardened seats added for use with unleaded gas, new Comp springs, retainers, locks and premium seals, done RIGHT! Multi angle valve job--up top a VERY RARE LD-340 intake with the Chrysler part number--these intakes make better power on a 340 than any ever made they are much sought after and rare as can be--yet fit under any hood. New melling pump, double roller timing set etc Fel  Pro gaskets  Built right!

2012 Mercedes SLK55 to get naturally aspirated 5.5 litre V8 (2011 SLK photo) You never really know until it’s officially announced, but we did expect the 2012 Mercedes SLK55 to get the new 5.5 litre V8. When Mercedes revealed the new SLK back in January, we knew there were still two more versions to come for 2012 – the SLK55 and the Diesel SLK – and that we’d get the official details later. Well, now it’s later – at least for the SLK55.

It's facelift time for the Peugeot 308. The 2011 mid-life fillip  brings a modest refresh, with tweaked engines, the promise of emissions as low as 98g/km of CO2 and a raft of minor styling and spec enhancements. Although this is a minor facelift, the 308 is easily spotted by its new-era Peugeot look.
