1956 OEM 265 cu. in. 205 HP 4BBL 3725306 casting Power Pack cylinder heads. Matched date set H 9 6; H 10 6 (August 9, 10, 1956) for late 1956, possibly early 1957 283 engines (Do your research on application of these heads on 1957 models. 1957 models were in the production line well before August, 1956). These are the staggered hole style for the first design valve covers. Chevy Parts Catalog (March 1957) shows these part/casting numbers are correct for all 1956 Corvette 265's with a single 4 barrel carburetor.

Removed from a running 3720991 engine block assembly with no mechanical issues. One of the first closed combustion chamber designs with the "quench" pads used to tighten up the combustion chamber and up the compression ratio (approximately 56 cc). Combustion chambers are similar in design to the 3740997 fuelie heads. No porting, decking or other modifications found. Heads are complete including OEM valve springs, rocker assemblies, push-rod guides and valves. Heads have been hot tanked/degreased and magnafluxed and check out OK. All threads in good, serviceable condition. A reputable machine shop should be able to recondition these heads with some, if not all, of the existing hard parts. Look the pictures over, what you see is what you get.
