Mostly complete, carb stolen, has been on shelf since I removed in 1977. Stamping pad is stamped 0069009T55F, which I think is a Tonawanda 1955 Powerglide 265.
Brand:Chevrolet

Been in dry storage since 1977, just moved to another dry storage. The Block is casting number 3703524 dated L64. Stamping pad is stamped 0069009T55F, which I think is a Tonawanda 1955 Powerglide 265. The intake however is dated H356, so it appear to be a add on. I suspect it was a 2 barrel originally. If interest is shown, I'll pull valve covers and get casting numbers and date codes. If I don't sell it whole, later I'll disassemble and piece it out. This item will require freight carrier and dock pickup and 48 state only.  PLEASE ask questions and I will take time to run every question to ground. I'll shave some $$ if you dont want intake.

Fifth Gear on TV – the Return

Tue, 23 Mar 2010

Fifth Gear Returns to TV in April with a new format Fifth Gear was everyone’s second favourite car show on TV. And that second favourite label seemed to be its undoing when FIVE decided last year to ditch the show after it failed to make any impact on the ratings against everyone’s favourite car show on TV – Top Gear. But FIVE (channel five if we ditch the trendy CAPITALS) have had a change of heart, done a syndication deal or two for Fifth Gear and are putting together a new series (they’ve actually commissioned two of them) which should hit TV screens at the end of next month.
