For sale is a used 6.0 Powerstroke 5r110 automatic transmission that came out of a 2003 F350 4x4.  Unfortunately the tail housing was broke when the engine was being taken out.  It appears that you can just unbolt the broken one and replace it.  Im selling selling the transmission as a core that should be rebuilt.  It was about 200,000 miles on it at the time of removal.  Shipping will be via freight.  Normally around $150 to a commercial location.  Any questions please ask.

Mobile phones set to be biggest roads killer

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

MOBILE PHONES are likely to be the number one cause of fatal collisions on the UK’s roads by 2015. The number of drivers making calls, texting and using social media while driving has risen dramatically, which has led Transport Minister Patrick McLoughlin to propose doubling the number of penalty points added to a driver’s licence if caught using a mobile phone while at the wheel. Figures from the Department for Transport show there were 378 accidents in 2012 that were directly attributed to mobile phone use, with 17 deaths recorded as a result.

In a statement to MPs, Mr Goodwill said the reforms would mean the creation of a "road user watchdog" similar to Passenger Focus on the railways.

Inside Bob Pond's car collection

Robert Pond was an industrialist, an aviator, a Navy pilot, an aircraft designer, a genuine car enthusiast, a philanthropist, a Minnesotan at heart and a man who turned a family business from eight employees to a global $100-million concern. Pond was born in 1924 in Edina, Minn., 10 miles southwest of Minneapolis. He signed up for the Navy Air Corps in 1942, and survived three years of training on J-3 Piper Cubs and PBY Catalinas to graduate in July of 1945 -- just three months before Japan surrendered to the US.
