This is an ultra rare heater delete set up which came from a 1963 Ford Fairlane.  This was used when the customer requested that no heater be installed such as how all original Fairlane Thunderbolts were ordered.   It consists of the knob and cable and RH air vent assembly (which, by the way, is totally different from the standard LH vent), heater control block off plate and the heater motor firewall block off plate.   The unit came from a car from south Florida which had been sitting in the wrecking yard for some time and the vent assembly does have significant corrosion and can be seen in the photos.   It is not visible once installed and can be repaired.  The vent works fine as is and the cable assembly also works fine.   The 62 63  actual heater control block off plate will not fit a 64 but the rest is correct for the 64.  None of this is reproduced and if you have been looking for a set up, you know how hard it is to find one.   I have had this stored for many years in my garage but now it is time to clean it out and I would like to see it go to someone who can use it.  Buy with confidence.

Aston Martin at Geneva

Tue, 04 Mar 2008

By Ben Barry Motor Shows 04 March 2008 17:35 What’s new on Aston’s stand? Nothing. After a flurry of activity pre-Ford sale (V8 Vantage Roadster and DBS) and the recent V12 Vantage RS, it’s not surprising to find Aston Martin in something of a lull at Geneva.
