What you are viewing is an NOS still in the box, thermostat housing. These will fit 390 427 428 Cobra jet, Mustang, Torino, Cougar, Fairlane and Ford trucks. The original thermostat housings were made out of aluminum, which had a tendency to corrode and leak. This is the Ford replacement which is steel. These are a great replacement for the aluminum ones considering most of these vehicles sit and start to leak. This does have the hole for those that need the thermostatic switch. If not, it comes with the plug. Part number on the housing C8AE-8594-E.
