This package is for the 1987-1993 30 spline 700-R4. The rebuild kit contains all Borg-Warner clutches and "Steel plates." Make sure you get a kit with steel plates. The cheaper ones don't have them and you "will" need them. Also included is a Transtec soft parts kit with every rubber seal and gasket that you'll need to complete your rebuild. The kit comes with a new filter, pump bushing and extension housing bushing. This kit also comes with the band. The torque converter that comes in this kit is balanced and pressure tested and has the heavy duty brazed turbine and torrington bearings. This converter has a stock stall speed and will be fine for up to 500 hp. The SK-700JR shift kit fixes, stuck throttle valve; late or non upshifts; 3-4 clutch failure; soft on slide-bump 1-2; 2-3 cutloose; shuttle 4-3-4-3; and soft 4th shift. Along with fixing these common problems, you'll also see an increase in the life of your transmission due to the reduced slippage. Remember to soak all of your clutches in tranny fluid for thirty minutes before you install them.

But that’s now changed, with AMG’s Christoph Jung telling AutoExpress that Mercedes and AMG are currently working on a smaller SLS, to go head-to-head with cars like the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. Interestingly, we’d thought that Mercedes would go the route of a mid-engined two-seater for the baby SLS, and that it would probably get a turbo V6. But it would appear not.
Almost 1 million cars made in UK this year
Thu, 21 Aug 2014CAR MANUFACTURING accelerated ahead last month, according to official figures. A total of 132,570 cars were made in the UK in July 2014 - a 2.8% rise on the figure for July 2013, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Last month's total took the year-to-date figure to 923,884 - a 3.4% increase on the total for the first seven months of last year.
Isuzu MU-X SUV revealed ahead of Tokyo motor show
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Just ahead of the Tokyo Motor Show later this month, Isuzu has shared more details on its upcoming MU-X SUV which was revealed in Bangkok days ago. Based on Isuzu D-Max pickup, the Isuzu was actually developed alongside the Australian-market Holden Colorado 7, sold elsewhere as the Chevrolet TrailBlazer. The seven-seat MU-X was designed in Thailand along with its Holden sibling, and its development route mirrored that of the first SUVs that started coming to the market in the mid-1980s -- taking a compact truck and adding a couple of doors and a hatch for the back.
