Description:

Rare: Original owner's manual + genuine Porsche pouch for: 1976 Porsche 911 (classic chassis) Carrera 3.0 models. This set is PRINTED IN GERMAN. This book is an authentic, original print and period correct and vintage Porsche literature!

List of contents:

1- Genuine Porsche embossed burgundy/maroon (vinyl) manuals pouch (storage case) --- this is the genuine item and NOT a cheap reproduction or knock-off imitation - it is in great condition with minimal blemish - some minor grime marks are noted on the pouch - the inner lining color is also the correct color for this model / year - the pouch shows some ripples because of its storage in hot CA climate - one very small separation is noted along the edge of one of the inner pockets - please see photos!

2a- Porsche 911 / Carrera 3.0 Betriebsanleitung '76 (4668.10   2.3 M   1/76) 67 pages of reading material and technical information --- used but in very good condition - some pages display smudges and finger print marks, but they are perfectly intact - minor delamination is noted on the covers - the original spiral ring spine is missing a couple of loops!

2b- Porsche 911/Carrera 3.0 Pflegepass section --- all change of ownership transfer vouchers are present - there are no maintenance or vehicle record pages, presumably removed by the prior owner!

CDN announces judging panel for Car Design Awards 2010

In line with the competition's aims, the judging panel comprises both Western and Chinese design chiefs, who will be awarding prizes to student entrants which include placements at an international design school. Chairing the panel for the Car Design Awards China 2010 competition will be Peter Stevens, the designer behind the McLaren F1 road car, Lotus Elan and Subaru Impreza P1 among others, and a visiting Professor of Vehicle Design at London's Royal College of Art.

Engineered and designed in Europe, the ix20 is the second car – after the bigger ix35 crossover – to adopt the family's new 'fluidic sculpture' design look.The ix20 will be on UK sale from November 2010. No word yet on the powertrains on offer, but we'd expect similar 1.1 and 1.4 petrols and 1.4 diesel as the similarly engineered Venga.Anything else at Paris 2010?

Driving safety proposal postponed

A PROMISED Green Paper on young driver safety has been postponed again - to the dismay of Labour and safety and motoring groups. The paper was to have been published at various stages this year but the Government has now pushed it back into 2014. Labour MP Richard Burden accused the Government of "kicking a decision into the long grass" while the RAC said the delay is "unfortunate".
