Supplied with a lightweight easy to handle 20ft charging cable, it's a perfect companion for charging your PHEV or BEV at home or away. Because TurboCord plugs in, installation costs are significantly lower than hardwired units, but with the added bonus of being able to easily take it with you. Not only does the direct plug-in feature make it portable but the unit doesn't use valuable wall space in your garage. Since charging is significantly faster, you'll be able to drive more electric miles with your Plug-in Electric Vehicle. TurboCord has been rigorously designed and tested to meet strict internal and automotive quality standards. It is listed and safety certified by UL, a leading Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory. AeroVironment is the choice of thousands of drivers and the preferred charger brand for auto manufactures including Nissan, Ford, FIAT, Kia, and Mitsubishi.

Fri, 22 Oct 2010

Searching for vintage car parts, literature, gas station collectables, or even a nice old car? The best place to look is the annual Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Fall National Meet, better known as “Hershey.” Now in its 55th year, it's the world's largest old car gathering, with an 1,800-car concours, more than 1,000 cars for sale in the “car corral,” and, best of all, an astounding 9,000 flea market spaces, chock full of more automotive artifacts than you can imagine, all scattered in no particular order on 85-plus acres--that's nearly 90 football fields--or “22 miles of aisles,” as Hershey devotees say. It takes a lot of walking, but walk we did for four days, for a close-up of this fascinating offshoot of the old-car hobby.
