Up for sale is a complete aftermarket parts inventory. We have been in business for over 50 years, primarily buying unwanted or overstocked oem parts from Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, General Motors, Kia, and Mopar dealerships, and reselling them on ebay and back to dealerships. A few years ago, we decided to delve into aftermarket parts as well. We had to buy $100k worth of their product to start up. The product is good, and sells well, but our oem business is going through the roof, and we need the room in our warehouse to stock the oem parts. The lot consists of brake pads and shoes, brake rotors, emergency brake shoes, calipers, control arms, ball joints, oil filters, air filters, transmission filters, cabin air filters, seals, etc. I have a complete list of the inventory in an excel file showing part numbers, quantity on hand, cost per part, and total cost of the inventory we still have. Our total cost on the inventory we still have is just over $80k. I can send this file in an email for your viewing pleasure! All the parts should be able to fit on 3-4 total pallets. Now we have a bit of a surprise from the boys at Benz, with the leak of a photo of the Mercedes F125 Hydrogen Fuel Cell Concept. Possibly pointing the way to the next generation S-Class – or maybe the one after, or the one after that, or… – the big gullwing coupé comes with a proper set of green credentials and, for a real change, green credentials with a future.
College Exhibition: Umea Degree Show 2006
Mon, 03 Jul 2006Students at Sweden's Umea University Institute of Design presented their work in the annual Degree Show in June, which included work from the Masters programmes in Transportation Design, Advanced Product Design, and Interaction Design along with projects from the Bachelor level graduates. The degree exhibition returned this year to the school following a major renovation that has greatly extended the school's facilities. 10 students graduated from the Transportation Design MA programme.
Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 first of string of new Peugeot hybrids
Tue, 28 Jun 2011Peugeot will launch the new 3008 HYbrid4 crossover in autumn 2011 as the world's first diesel-electric hybrid car - and it's the first in a string of hybrid cars coming from Peugeot and Citroen. The 3008 HYbrid4 will be followed by a brace of 508 hybrids in spring 2011, and engineers have told CAR that any car on the mid-sized PF2 and full-sized PF3 platforms can use the same innovative electric 4wd architecture. Although pricey at £26,995, Peugeot expects to sell 10,000 of the 3008 HYbrid4 in its first full year and the parent group PSA Peugeot Citroen is targeting 100,000 annual sales of hybrids as soon as 2015.
