Aston Martin V12 Vantage S works out at Silverstone
Mon, 21 Oct 2013We dove deep into the 2015 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S last Monday, finding the car to be explosive off the line, but also more comfortable thanks to its new electronically controlled adaptive suspension. On Friday, Aston uploaded almost seven minutes of footage of the new brawler at the Silverstone Circuit in England. If you'll remember, the new Vantage delivers 565 hp from its 6.0-liter V12, along with 457 lb-ft of torque at 5,750 rpm.
Iowa distributes thumb bands imprinted with ‘TXTING KILLS'
Tue, 19 Oct 2010Thumb bands that read “TXTNG KILLS” have been making their way around the state of Iowa, the Wall Street Journal reports. The bands--which are meant to serve as a reminder to avoid texting while driving--have been distributed at events such as the Iowa State Fair and the Iowa-Iowa State college football game. “A lot of people want them for their kids,” Courtney Greene, spokeswoman for Iowa's Department of Public Safety, told the Wall Street Journal.

The event was organized by the Ryan Emge, editor of a Saab.History.com, and was part car show, part rally and part family gathering.
