Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder – Pebble Beach Debut
Sun, 16 Aug 2009Spyker has debuted the Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder at Pebble Beach So it’s entirely fitting that Spyker should bring along the Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event this weekend, to show off what they have to offer. After all, with the target being 50% of Spykers going to the States in future, this is the single most important market for Spyker. Spyker has a big advantage with the C8 Aileron Spyder.
Kia Cross GT SUV Concept teased ahead of Chicago debut
Wed, 30 Jan 2013A new Kia Concept for a larger CUV/SUV – the Kia Cross GT – is being teased ahead of a reveal at the Chicago Auto Show. Kia may have made big strides in the last few years – along with sister company, Hyundai – but there’s no sense they’re resting on their laurels despite declaring 2013 the year when brand perception is key rather than huge sales growth. We already know that the Kia pro_cee’d GT and the five-door Cee’d GT, both the with a 200bhp petrol turbo – are heading for the Geneva Motor Show in March and will sit alongside the the Kia Urban Concept, which appears to be Kia’s take on the Nissan Juke.

But it now seems that VW has bitten the bullet on the Bentley SUV and signed it off for production, when it will apparently come complete with a new Bentley name – Bentley Falcon. The news of a name for Bentley’s luxury off-roader comes from Georg Kacher writing in Automobile Magazine and, although it perhaps doesn’t resonate particularly in the UK, it will probably have more impact on the target market for the SUV – the Middle East – where the Falcon is a big deal.
