You are bidding on a BRAND NEW in its original envelope, 56 page booklet about the 1985 Chevrolet Corvette.  This booklet contains the features of the Corvette and has a fold-out center photo of the cockpit and the roof section looking down into a red Corvette. The booklet also includes photos of the 1953-1985 Corvettes. The booklet is a silver gray color with the Corvette insignia on it. There is a tiny bit of silver off the corner when I removed it from the envelope. The envelope is white with red lettering and it has six dollars printed in red on the top corner. This would make a great gift for any Corvette lover!

CCS students design tomorrow's headlights

The College of Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit teamed up with Visteon and Osram to give 18 CCS seniors an opportunity to create new automotive lighting designs using the latest technology. CCS has been partnering with Visteon since 2002 and with Osram since 2010. The trio gave students a chance at hands-on design experience under the guidance of designers and engineers from Visteon and Osram as a class during the 2011 fall semester.

General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner is about to resign after eight years as the Obama administration prepares to decide on the automaker's request for additional government rescue loans, two people familiar with the matter said. A senior Obama administration official told NBC's John Yang that Wagoner, 56, was asked to step down by the White House. The automaker, which has lost about $82 billion since 2004, awaits word Monday from President Obama on a request for as much as $16.6 billion in additional U.S.
