THE BUILDING THEY STORED THEM IN IS NOW SCHEDULED FOR DEMOLITION. ON 29 DECEMBER 2010 THE BASE ANNOUNCED ON FACEBOOK THAT THEY NEEDED TO FIND A HOME FOR THESE BOOKS OR THEY WOULD BE DESTROYED. I NOW HAVE THOUSANDS OF THEM AND WILL BE LISTING THEM ON E-BAY. THE POINT IN TELLING THIS, IS THAT I WANT BIDDERS THAT BID ON THESE BOOKS TO UNDERSTAND THAT MANY ARE CLASSICS, BUT THEY HAVE THE CATALOGGING STICKERS ON THEM AND A STAMP FROM THE BASE LIBRARY. Cash for clunkers plan revives trade fight
Thu, 05 Feb 2009Import brand automakers and dealers warned on Thursday that a vehicle scrappage proposal before the Senate would violate trade agreements and could weaken the economy. The Senate could vote on the plan on Thursday, which would offer $10,000 to any moderate- or low-income consumer who trades in a car or truck that is at least 10 years old and buys a new one that is more fuel-efficient and "assembled in the United States." The trade-ins would be scrapped rather than resold. The U.S.-made mandate "smacks of the protectionism that led to the Great Depression," said Barbara Nocera, the top Washington lobbyist for Mazda North American Operations.
Saleen S351 Mustang being prepped

So what's new? First up is a Saleen 351 Mustang, which was announced at the LA auto show last week.
Aston Martin Lagonda
Tue, 09 Sep 2014The Aston Martin Lagonda name has been resurrected again, but this iteration promises to be far less controversial than the 2009 SUV concept. Created for a select group of Middle Eastern clients, this large three-box sedan (dimensions haven't yet been made available) offers a well-judged balance between the current Aston Martin range and the idiosyncratic 1970s Lagonda by William Towns. Its proportions are very extreme for a luxury sedan, with a cabin sat far rearwards behind a very shallow A-pillar.
