Bronze Distributor Gears
One of the first requirements when installing a steel roller cam is the addition of a bronze distributor gear. A stock cast iron gear is not compatible with a steel camshaft. COMP Cams® gears are machined from AMPCO-45 extruded aluminum bronze with 5% Nickel added. These gears feature a high-strength tooth design that resists wear even when used with high pressure oil pumps. These extra tough gears are the answer when higher mechanical properties are demanded.

Infiniti M

Mon, 17 Aug 2009

Less than two years after the mid-life facelift of its 'M' series luxury sedan range, Infiniti has taken the wraps off an all-new 2011 version. Launched 'virtually' at the recent Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the third-generation M is scheduled to be publicly unveiled later this year bearing toned-down styling cues from the company's Essence concept. The influence of the Essence is most apparent in the sedan's undulating character line and the way that the hood plunges down to meet a low-set front grille complete with concave outer edges.

Renault Gordini back

Sat, 07 Nov 2009

The old Clio Renaultsport with a 1965 Renault Gordini 8 I think you’ll probably have to be over 40 – or a Renault nut – to have any knowledge of the Renault Gordini. But you’re soon going to be a bit more knowledgeable if reports that Renault are about to revive the Gordini name are true. There have been rumours for quite a while that Renault want to use the Gordini name on their ‘Sporty’ cars in the same way that BMW has used the Cooper name on MINIs and Fiat the Abarth name.
