Last Compression Recorded at Last Annual 11': 74 72 70 60 76 75 over 80. For some reason the log is missing the annual for this engine for 12' and 13'. The left hand engine has the annuals recorded but the right engine log is missing the entries....

Now this engine was installed on a Cessna 421B that was parked in a hanger at the Cabo San Lucas airport when Hurricane Odile hit. The hanger it was in didnt get knocked down but the side panels and door were blown in. A few prop blades did get damaged from debris rubbing against the blades and also from transportation back to the states. The blades were not bent but had rubb marks in the edges, take this info as you see it but that is what happened.

Engine is being sold "as removed" with no warranties given, expressed, or implied. Buyer to determine airworthiness. However I DO gaurantee that the crankshaft and gear box with prop flange to be good and pass inspection. Please if you have any questions just ask, I offer worldwide service.

McLaren plan to make windscreen wipers obsolete

Sun, 15 Dec 2013

McLaren plan to make windscreen wipers obsolete Much of the ‘clunkiness’ in cars – stuff like wind-up windows and a cranking handle – have been made obsolete in cars as technology arrived to make things work better, but one thing that remains on modern cars from the dawn of the motoring age is the windscreen wiper. Invented by Mary Anderson in 1903 after she realised drivers of the first motor cars were having to lean out of the window in rainy conditions to see where they were going, it became a standard fitting on all cars within a few years. Windscreen wipers have certainly improved over the years as technology has developed, but they’re still basically a strip of rubber moving across the windscreen to clear rain.
