For sale is one pair of used outer seat belt guide underbody reinforcements P/N 3926439 LH, 3926440 RH Correct for 1968 Corvettes (With Upper Stud) Works for 1969 Corvettes (Remove Upper Stud) - The seat belt guide outer reinforcement pair features the mounting stud specific for 1968 Corvettes.
- 1969 Corvettes did not use the stud for the seat belt guide so Early to Mid-1969 Corvettes have the stud cut away and for Late 1969's GM did not install the stud at all.
The pair does show some wear wear due to being used. The finish on both reinforcements is heavily oxidized. There are areas that show some pitting and metal flaking. There are no rust holes or severe metal thinning. The rivet moutn holes are in good condition. All weld nuts are firmly attached. Both studs show damage to the threads and may either need to be replaced or chased (see pics). One of the reinforcements show some slight waviness on the surface with the stud. Despite this, both reinforcements seem to be in their general factory shape.

Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson & Richard Hammond (pictured) BANNED from driving in France
It’s an astonishing claim from a man with a lead right foot, but Jeremy Clarkson claims to have never been nicked for speeding. But that claim is something Jeremy will have to qualify by location in future after the French ‘Rozzers’ nicked both Clarkson and Richard Hammond on a Top Gear drive in France last month. How we all managed to miss this little snippet of news when Jeremy revealed it in his column in The Sun last month, we don’t know.

The MG3 – MG’s new supermini – has been caught testing in Spain ahead of a launch in the UK in early 2013. MG doesn’t offer a great deal of choice for car buyers at the moment, but the MG range is set to expand in 2013 with the addition of the MG3 supermini. The MG3 is already on sale in China, but MG are busy giving the MG3 a bit of a makeover to suit European markets, and a trio of UK plate MG3s have been caught out testing in Spain ahead of a UK launch at the start of the New Year.
