Sun, 02 Oct 2011De Tomaso to get €100 million from India De Tomaso hasn’t had the most solvent history in the motoring world, and had been dormant until ex-Fiat man Gian Mario Rossignolo rescued the name – and some of the assets – from the liquidators. And he had big plans. The first of those plans was the underwhelming De Tomaso Deauville, a car which borrowed its name from a previous XJ-like saloon car from De Tomaso, but looked like the bastard child of a Porsche Cayenne and a 5-Series GT.

Tue, 05 Mar 2013The Ferrari that was the F150 is LaFerrari and has been officially revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show to take on the McLaren P1. Revealed this morning at the Geneva Motor Show, LaFerrari is Ferrari’s answer to the McLaren P1 – and it’s a very strong answer too. Both the P1 and LaFerrari are hybrid cars with very similar performance (McLaren P1 specs here).

We’d heard rumours – all revolving round a Shooting Brake Concept – but it was still a bit of a surprise to see the reality that is the Ferrari FF. Ferrari seem intent on pushing the boundaries of what is an ‘acceptable’, and according to much of what’s been commented on the Interweb after Ferrari revealed the FF yesterday, they may have gone a step further than many would like.
