For This Ebay Listing The Purchaser Is To Receive: One first quality all forged LS short block consisting of all new first quality parts installed in a blue-printed GM iron or Aluminum block 4.000 or 4.065 bore (larger bores to 4.250" available for an additional charge). Short block consists of new custom forged pistons built to customer's choice in compression ratio, rod length, and stroke. Customer may choose 4.000 stroke or 4.125 stroke. Billet Molnar 4340 alloy H-beam rods are used in these custom short blocks with ARP 2000 cap screw bolts and air craft bronze floater small end bushings. Preimum King XP coated bearings and Total Seal plasma moly rings are used to assemble these short blocks after machining and balancing of the components. At the buy it now price this engine package includes a set of custom machined and assembled LS3 or LS7 aluminum heads by Brodix, GMPP, or Dart in the appropriate size for your displacement and application ( Cathedral Port also available). This engine also includes a custom grind camshaft designed to your exact vehicle and intended use in solid or hydraulic roller. We manufacture engines with parts assemblies that are designed to work together in strength rating and function, and are not mismatched. Example: the common GM stock lifter is not designed to handle much more than 350lbs open valve spring pressure. Our engines use lifters from Johnson and Crower that are designed for the heavier spring pressures required with higher lift higher RPM camshafts. All of our engines ship with at minimum caged rocker arms or full roller rocker arms! All of our engines ship with full build sheet / blue print sheet showing all specs from ring end gap to crank end play to head install height and coil bind with open closed pressures, to bearing clearances, to rod side clearance, piston to valve, etc etc, etc. All of our engines receive a custom modified new high pressure oil pump along with severe duty forged crank and thick wall one piece push rods! EPA calls for lower-sulfur gasoline
Fri, 29 Mar 2013The EPA proposed a package of rules Friday that includes cleaner gasoline and stricter limits on pollution from the tailpipes of cars, despite objections from the oil industry. The rules, known as Tier 3, have been supported by car companies because they would bring U.S. standards into alignment with those of California, where gasoline must have a lower sulfur content to help reduce tailpipe emissions.
