Peugeot 308 R heading for production
Thu, 19 Sep 2013It looks like the Peugeot 308 R (pictured) is heading for production With the Peugeot RCZ R managing to go from range-topping performance concept to production, it seemed likely Peugeot was aiming at producing a new range of performance cars. And it seems the next could be the Peugeot 308 R. Arriving at the Frankfurt Motor Show as a concept, the 308 R comes with a strange two-tone paint job (meant to evoke the Peugeot Onyx Concept), but with far more to offer than just a paint job that makes it look a different car at the back than the front.
Mercedes SLK (2011/2012) ‘Magic Roof’ Spy Photos
Sat, 30 Oct 2010The Mercedes SLK Magic Roof 'Official' Spy Photo Regular readers may remember that in the run-up to the reveal of the Mercedes SLS we had ‘official’ spy photos – and even an official ‘spy’ video – of the Mercedes SLS. Which Mercedes obviously felt played well with the Interweb and our lust for news as they’re at it again with the 2011 / 2012 Mercedes SLK. We thought the tease for the next SLK had started early when Mercedes sent us the first teaser picture at the start of the month.
2015 Land Rover Defender WON’T look like DC100 Concept
Wed, 17 Oct 2012Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – has said the 2015 Land Rover Defender won’t look like the DC100 Concept. Most of the feedback Land Rover got was pretty positive, although there were comments from traditional Defender owners that the DC100 looked like a toy Defender and not the rugged icon they wanted. But it looks like those traditional buyers of the Land Rover Defender can stop panicking that their wheels of choice will be turned in to a style statement instead of a workhorse after Gerry McGovern - Land Rover’s Design Director – told CarAdvice that the 2015 Defender won’t look like the DC100 after all.
