Wed, 21 Feb 2007By Jack Carfrae First Official Pictures 21 February 2007 07:46 Vauxhall Antara: the lowdown After a few years away from the thriving SUV market, Vauxhall is returning with the new Antara. The driver will sit 'feet up', allowing for greater underfloor downforce, which goes some way to explaining how the car achieves a quoted 200kg of downforce at 100mph.

If it was an S500 you knew it had a 5.0 litre engine and if it said C180 you could safely assume you’d get a modest 1.8 litre lump to row Mercedes’ smallest saloon along. But things have got a bit more complicated over the years; probably because the cubic capacity of the engine is not necessarily an indication of its power.
