Energy Suspension 3.4116g 81-87 Chevy Trk Cab Mounts Black on 2040-parts.com
Columbus, Georgia, United States
Body Cab Mount Set; Black; Performance Polyurethane; Will replace distorted and worn-out original rubber mounts to maintain car body and truck cab to bed alignment. Original rubber mounts are so soft they often crack, distort, and crush so badly they often fall off. And aluminum body mounts are too harsh for street use that they tend to break and cause other components to break. Energy's specially formulated Hyper-Flex(TM) polyurethane cab and body mounts combine the best qualities of both: they're soft enough for a smooth ride, yet rugged enough for the most demanding road or track. Most sets have a strong zinc plated steel ring molded into them - for added durability and when the application requires it. Toyota sets electric car record at Nurburgring with TMG EV P001
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Toyota TMG EV P001 - new EV lap record at the Nurburgring Every car maker wants a lap record at the Nurburgring, and Toyota is no different. What is different this time is that Toyota has taken a non-production car with an electric motor – the Toyota TMG EV P001 – to crack the record for an EV. Nurburgring regular Jochen Krumbach took the Toyota Motorsport EV P001 round the 20.8km Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in a blistering 7m 47.794s, annihilating the previous record of 9m 1.388s.
Concept Car of the Week: Chevrolet Express (1987)
Fri, 25 Jan 2013A fantastic selection of concept cars from the ‘80s were featured in Back to the Future II such as the Pontiac Pursuit, the Ford Probe or the Saab EV-1, but my personal favorite was the Chevrolet Express that almost ran over Marty upon his arrival in the year 2015. Before being a movie extra, the Express was presented in 1987 as another attempt from GM to adapt aircraft engineering to automotive requirements. GM had been experimenting with gas turbines for more than 20 years, dating back to the 370hp XP-21 Firebird from 1954, but that concept was quite primitive compared to its younger brother.
American hero Dave Kinney drags Avanti no. 2 back to life
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Autoweek contributor, appraiser, valuation expert and rural quiz-bowl champ Dave Kinney has a thing for Studebaker Avantis. He claims to have owned around 100 of them, though we've heard that the real number is higher than that. One of those Avantis was the second one that Studebaker ever built.
