We will gladly process your request for a return or exchange if the merchandise is returned within 30 days of the original purchase or delivery date. The return/exchange must include a copy of the original sales receipt with the reason for return. Returned or exchanged merchandise must be new, unused, and contain all the original packaging and accessories. Exchanges are subject to additional shipping costs that must be paid in full before the exchange can be processed. No returns or exchanges will be granted on merchandise that shows signs of having been installed, modified, mounted, scratched or defaced. Companies work with racing technology to improve child safety seats
Fri, 27 May 2011The same technology that saved IndyCar driver Simona De Silvestro from serious injury in a recent crash at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway might soon be helping protect children in car seats. Dorel Juvenile Group, a car-seat manufacturer, is partnering with racing-product developers at Bald Spot Sports to use cockpit material that insulates racers from crashes in child-safety technology. Dorel makes child-safety items under brand names such as Safety 1st and Cosco.

Weighing less than 1100kg thanks to its Dallara-sourced carbonfibre chassis, the R.S 01 has a 3.8-litre V6 engine developing ‘more than 493bhp.’ The engine is borrowed from in-house alliance partner Nissan’s GT-R Nismo high-performance coupe, and is breathed on by two turbochargers. It’s mounted amidships and revs to an angry-sounding 6800rpm.

The Blue Oval’s SUV notched up three stars while the Audi A4 only scored two in pedestrian impact tests. The Ford Kuga also achieved four stars for child occupancy and five for adult occupancy.
