UP FOR AUCTION IS A NICE RUNNING 9.5 EVIRUDE LONG SHAFT TILLER MOTOR. THIS MOTOR HAS BEEN ALL GONE OVER AND RUNS EXCELLENT. I HAVE REBUILT CARB AND INSTALLED A NEW WATER PUMP IMPELLER LOWER END WAS INSPECTED AND SERVICED WITH NEW LUBE. COMPRESSION IS HIGH AND EVEN ON BOTH CYLINDERS. IGNITION SYSTEM WAS CHECKED AND NEW POINTS , CONDENCERS AND  PLUGS INSTALLED.  I HAVE ALSO REPAINTED THE ENTIER MOTOR WITH EUROTHANE AUTOMOTIVE PAINT AND INSTALLED NEW FACTORY DECALS.  NO PAINT WAS APPLYED TO ACTUAL POWER HEAD OF MOTOR IT IS ORIGINAL. MOTOR LOOKS AND RUNS LIKE NEW. I WILL SHIP TO ANYONE IN THE LOWER 48 STATES IN A CUSTOM BUILT LIGHT PLYWOOD CRATE AND PACKED WELL FOR PROTECTION. THANKS FOR LOOKING NO RESERVE 

Goodwood 2011 FoS and Revival dates announced

Lord March has announced dates for both the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival. The Festival of Speed will take place from 1-3 July, and the Revival will follow on 16-18 September 2011. The theme is 'racing revolutions – quantum leaps that shaped motor sport’, and some of the celebrated breakthroughs will includes 30 years since four-wheel drive started to dominate rallying, 25 years since turbocharged engines ruled in F1, and two decades since Mazda’s rotary-engined 787B took the chequered flag at Le Mans.

Banks and Dallenbach ready for Pikes Peak with 1,400 hp

Not content to rest on his laurels after developing new diesel engines for military applications, Gale Banks and his company Banks Power will run a 1,400-hp, 1,301 lb-ft methanol-fueled vehicle up the now completely paved course at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, which is scheduled to take place Aug. 8-12. Banks teamed up with Paul Dallenbach and Leonard Arnold of Dallenbach Racing for the occasion.

USED CAR BUYER CONFIDENCE “UNLIKELY TO IMPROVE” IN 2011 SAYS RAC

USED CAR buyer confidence is unlikely to improve significantly in 2011, meaning that demand for safety net products such as extended warranties will remain strong, says RAC Warranty. The company points out that at the end of 2010, used car warranties are still being enhanced – by both length of time and depth of cover – at around the same rates as during the worst parts of the recession, indicating that the mood of consumers remains cautious. Ian Simpson, sales and marketing director, said: “Next year, the measures that the coalition Government has undertaken to reduce public spending will really start to bite and that will have a definite impact on general confidence.
