Fastronix Remote Master Disconnect Switch Kit

Operation :
Installing a remote master disconnect switch allows a convenient way to disconnect the battery for security or
 vehicle storage.
Once installed, you will simply pull the dash switch for battery connection or push to disconnect battery.

In race cars or if battery has been relocated to the trunk, install the secondary switch on the rear of the
vehicle in addition to the dash switch.

The external rear mounted switch enables use as an emergency shut off.

Keep in mind that both switches need to be on for battery connection but only one switch needs to
be pushed in for battery disconnection. It is normal for the solenoid to become warm when activated.

Note also that the battery may discharge if the the solenoid is left activated for extended periods
of time due to the current draw of the solenoid.

Poll: what should be done with donated Dodge Vipers?

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Last week Chrysler sent letters to a number of colleges ordering them to crush the remaining Dodge Vipers that they have in their custody, in accordance with the agreement entered into by the carmaker and a number of vocational school when Chrysler donated the cars. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the interet got wind of this and blew a head gasket. How could early pre-production Vipers be ordered to the crusher when they're...

DIY Car Repairs in London

Mon, 11 May 2009

DIY car repairs in the dry are now a reality in London In those days I would have given anything to have access to a warm, dry garage, with hoists and tools, where I could turn up, fix what had to be fixed, and stay dry in the process. Well, the days of laying prostrate under a car in the freezing cold are long gone for me, but for many, especially in these difficult financial times, DIY car repairs are a necessity. So there should be a bit of a cheer going up in London today as what are believed to be the first DIY garage facilities in Europe open for business in Acton, North London.
