THIS IS THE LAST FAIRLANE PEDAL SET I HAVE.

YOU ARE BIDDING ON A NEWLY RECONDITIONED ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT CLUTCH AND BRAKE PEDAL SET FROM A 1964 FAIRLANE 500. THESE PEDALS WILL FIT ALL 1962,63,64,65 FAIRLANE, AND 62,63 METEOR, 6 CYLINDER, V8, 2 DOOR, 4 DOOR, AND STATION WAGON MODELS. UNLIKE SOME SELLERS, I DO NOT USE GENERIC OR "FILE" PHOTOS IN MY LISTINGS. THE ITEM PICTURED IS THE ACTUAL ITEM YOU ARE BIDDING ON.

THESE PEDALS WILL NOT WORK ON THE 65 FAIRLANE CARS AS PICTURED. IN 65 FORD MOVED THE STOP LIGHT SWITCH FROM THE MASTER CYLINDER TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE PIN ON THE BRAKE PEDAL FOR THE MASTER CYLINDER ROD WAS LENGTHENED FROM 1/2" TO 1" TO ACCOMODATE THE SWITCH. AS THE PICTURES SHOW, THIS SET HAS THE 1/2" PIN USED ON THE PRE 65 CARS. IF YOU PURCHASE THESE PEDALS FOR A 65 FAIRLANE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU PAY FOR THE PEDALS. I WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE BRAKE PEDAL BEFORE SHIPPING.

THE PEDALS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. NO RUST PITTING OR CORROSION, NO WELDS OR REPAIRS. NO WEAR ON THE CLUTCH PEDAL PIVOT SHAFT, OR ON THE HOLE FOR THE CLUTCH ROD. THE SET HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED, BEAD BLASTED, REFINISHED IN LOW GLOSS BLACK, LUBED, AND REASSEMBLED WITH NEW AFTERMARKET PEDAL PADS, READY TO INSTALL.

THESE 50+ YEAR OLD PARTS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND. THERE ARE A LOT OF WORN OUT, RUSTY USED SETS OUT THERE, OR INCOMPLETE SETS THAT HAVE BEEN COBBLED TOGETHER FROM DIFFERENT MODELS CLAIMING TO FIT MORE CARS THAN THEY REALLY WILL, ( MUSTANG PEDALS WILL NOT FIT FALCON AND VISA VERSA, ), OR SETS THAT HAVE BEEN RATTLE CAN RESTORED OVER THE RUST AND DIRT TO LOOK GOOD IN THE PICTURE, OR BLASTED AND PAINTED AS A UNIT WITHOUT BEING TAKEN APART. DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK SPECIFIC QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE PARTS BEFORE YOU BID, EVEN IF THE PARTS ARE DESCRIBED AS GOOD. DON'T WAIT UNTIL THEY ARRIVE ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT THEY ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR AWHILE. MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE. MY PEDALS FIT THE CARS AND YEARS THEY ARE ADVERTISED TO FIT, GUARANTEED. ALWAYS CHECK THE FEEDBACK OF ANY SELLER BEFORE YOU BID. THAT WILL TELL YOU WHO YOU CAN TRUST.

PLEASE VIEW MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE QUALITY VINTAGE FORD AND MERCURY PARTS. I ACCEPT PAY PAL AND POSTAL M/O AS PAYMENT FOR MY ITEMS. I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. THANKS FOR LOOKING.

Land Rover sending more Range Rover Evoques to the US

Fri, 20 Jul 2012

Land Rover are increasing the supply of the new Range Rover Evoque to the US by a third to help meet demand. In the land where cubic inches are king and any SUV smaller than a Hummer isn’t really an SUV, it’s amazing that the dinky Range Rover Evoque is a hit – but it is. From sales of just 2,200 Evoques in 2011, Land Rover has managed to shift twice that in the first six months of 2012, and Land Rover dealers are still complaining they can’t get enough Evoques to meet demand.

It's just been unveiled in Japan, costs over £100k and Nissan says the new car is ‘targeted specifically at enthusiast drivers who desire race car-level performance in a street-legal vehicle’.

Jaguar/Land Rover sale 'deadline set for July 2007'

Mon, 09 Jul 2007

By Jamie Butler Motor Industry 09 July 2007 11:28 Potential buyers circling Jaguar and Land Rover have until 19 July to table a bid, it was revealed at the weekend. Ford is preparing to sell both luxury car makers together, although it may consider bids to buy them separately. It is thought that the most likely buyers are private equity investors, as several car manufacturers have already publicly declined the offer to buy the historic brands.
