Sheet Metal Set Black Suede Powder Coat. for your custom project. Mounting holes are pre drilled on the tank tabs and for the fender strut. The set includes our 2.5 gal frisco style tank with fuel site gauge and brass fittings. Tank has a 2 3/8" tunnel and is 17.5" from the ends of the mounting tabs. Low tunnel design. (we can install the fuel gauge on top of the tank, we can also install rear petcock mounts as well) . The fender is a Lowbrow Customs 6" manta ray. Heavy 14 gauge steel. Fit both 18" rear wheels with a lower profile tire and the classic 16" with the taller bobber tires. This fender wraps the tire unlike the cheap flat trailer fenders. Also included is a 3.5 quart steel side fill oil tank with battery box. Uses Evo softail mounts which are the standard on most rigid frames. Honda unveils Insight Hybrid
Thu, 04 Dec 2008Honda has released the first official images of the Prius-fighting Honda Insight, which is due to launch in the New Year at the Detroit Motor Show, and be in UK Car showrooms in the Spring of 2009. Honda has been sceptical about the future of the Hybrid/Electric car, and has expressed the view that it believes the long term future lies in Hydrogen powered EVs, rather than EVs per se. But this is a sensible move by Honda to take away sales from the Toyota Prius.
WRC Mini Concept (2010) first official pictures
Thu, 30 Sep 2010While the Mini Countryman might be destined for suburban mumsville, BMW has confirmed the new model will also terrorise the countryside in the form of the WRC Mini from 2011, with IRC champ Kris Meeke at the wheel. Officially launched at the 2010 Paris motor show in concept guise, the WRC Mini will be engineered and run by motorsport doyen Dave Richards and his Prodrive outfit, although customer packages will be available too, allowing independents to compete in the car. Not so much – this is no time for misty-eyed Paddy Hopkirk odes.
