FRONT FORK JOINT HOSE REMOVED FROM MY 1980 HONDA CB900 CUSTOM Condition as shown. No damage or cracking and the front forks were not leaking air when I started parting the bike out. Includes the connector ($16.07 list price) and one of the o-rings, but I would probably replace that before installing.
CB900C Custom - 1980 See any incorrect information? Please let me know! Last summer I parted out my 1980 Honda CB900 Custom, which I had owned since 1982. About all that is left are the engine and transmission components, and some miscellaneous parts (foot pegs, wiring harnesses, levers, clamps, brackets, relays, etc.). All of the higher demand parts (gas tank, side covers, exhaust, gages, headlamp, fenders, chrome trim, controls, handlebars, charging system, ignition system, air shocks, brakes, oil pump, starter) have been sold off. However, if there is a specific part you are looking for feel free to ask about it using the “Ask a question” link. Please don't bid if you want these parts to be new, because they aren’t. But I did take very good care of this bike. The bike was never in an accident. Many of the parts are as good as you’ll be able to find; all of the parts will be good enough to get your bike on the road again. Every part will have something wrong as they are used (and 33 years old). If it's bad, I try to mention it, but I don’t list every scuff, dimple, scratch, pit, or rust spot. Please do look at my feedback on parts from this bike which have been sold. Shipping cost is based on actual package weight, size, and zip code (unless using USPS Flat Rate boxes) and generally only includes a “handling” charge if I have to purchase shipping materials (to cover the cost); mostly I use recycled shipping materials and try to ship the most economical method. I will combine shipping, but doing so may delay shipping a day or two as I will need to repackage your items.

CCS- American Iron and Steel Institute Challenge 2005
Tue, 15 Nov 2005Transportation Design students from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit recently presented projects done in conjunction with the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). Three students were selected from the college to complete an internship: Chris Piscitelli, Sylvian Bryan and Sang Hoon Shin. They took on the challenge to design a 'functional, innovative and extreme-inspired vehicle that integrates environmental responsibility, cost efficiency and advanced steel materials.' Aside from the peripheral criteria, it is the 'extreme' theme that sticks, the brief satisfyingly encouraging students to really provoke with their imaginations.With the Challenge now in its 17th year, AISI puts its considerable resources to good use, Piscitelli, Bryan and Shin each receiving much support during their internship program, which includes producing scale models of their designs.
