Garmin Nuvi LMT 1450 – only the GPS unit itself is offered here.  No cords or accessories, no micro-SD card.

The unit powers on and will take a charge.  However, it keeps turning itself on and off and switching screens once turned on.  There are some small scratches on the screen, as shown, however they are not visible when the unit is turned on.

There are no maps currently in the machine, so this version must store its maps on the micro-SD card.  When I turn it on, it does locate satellites, and it does correctly show my current position.  Touch screen works.

Alfa Romeo's plans for new 2011 Giulia saloon

Thu, 25 Mar 2010

Today's Alfa Romeo 159 will be replaced by the Giulia in 2011 By Georg Kacher Motor Industry 25 March 2010 17:31 The big news from Alfa Romeo for 2011 is of course la nuova Giulia, which replaces the 159. Unlike the current car, which shares the so-called premium architecture with the Brera twins, the next midliner from Arese adopts a slightly wider and longer variation of the C/D components set. This new, more space-efficient matrix combines a McPherson front axle with a twin-link rear suspension, and engineers promise great handling benefits will result.

Aston Martin Rapide S: The video

Sun, 24 Mar 2013

Ahead of the media launch of the Aston Martin Rapide S in Spain, Aston Martin has delivered a Rapide S video to pique interest. Now we have the arrival of the Aston Martin Rapide S as a replacement for the Rapide, which goes a similar route to the DB9 with a more a aggressive attitude and more power. Aston Martin revealed the Rapide S in January in an effort to inject some oomph in to Rapide sales – as a replacement for the Rapide and not as an ‘S’ model to sit above it – bestowing it with 550bhp instead of the Rapide’s 470bhp, chucking in a new grill and boot spoiler and a set of the Gen 4 tweaks like adaptive dampers.
