Mon, 01 Jun 2009BMW has released teaser images of the new BMW X1 compact SUV BMW’s offering in this department is the new BMW X1 which is, in many ways, a 1-Series on stilts, although it has components in common with both the 1-Series and the 3-Series. It will be available in both 2WD and 4WD with engines ranging from a 1.8 litre 4-pot petrol to a 3.0 litre turbo-diesel with a 6-sped manual ‘box or an auto option. These relatively undisguised photos from BMW are the first official shots that have no real subterfuge in them, and show the lines of the car pretty clearly.
Gordon Murray Design's eight new models revealed

Seven are lightweight, low-emissions cars based on his radical new iStream manufacturing technique, and the last is a new supercar that he says will have 'an enormous amount in common' with his iconic McLaren F1.You read CAR's first full appraisal of the T25 in the new September 2010 issue of CAR Magzine, out on 18 August. Tue, 09 Jun 2009The Ferrari F430 Spyder Bio Fuel car from the Detroit Motor Show in 2008 We learnt at the weekend that Lamborghini are to reduce their CO2 footprint by 35%, and we recently learnt about some of Ferrari’s Hybrid plans from patent applications the boys from Maranello had filed. But today we learn that not only is Ferrari looking at Hybrid options, but that it intends showing a car very soon – probably at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November. Ferrari is looking at several options to keep the ‘Environmentalists’ happy, including Bio-Fuel and Turbo charging.
