MOST DRIVERS in the UK mark key milestone moments in their life with a change of car. Four out of five British drivers say they will change their car to give their first-born child a more comfortable drive home, while others say they would swap cars if they won the Lottery. This second video delves into the 2D sketching phase of the project as 30 students – divided into 10 groups – devise their exterior and interior designs as well as the associated products and color and trim details for a future Peugeot. The video outlines the stage as students develop the overall proportions of the exterior and interior designs, and follows the teams as they choose the textures for materials that will feature in the interior.

The P-NUT is a three-seat (which sounds great in principle, but all 3-seat cars – McLaren F1 included – are a pain for the driver to get in and out) concept with masses of angular lines and glass, designed to be offered with one of three powertrains – a petrol, petrol-electric hybrid or pure EV.
