These badges / emblems are no longer available at Mercedes Benz and will never be produced again. This may well be the last opportunity to get a new and genuine one.  The complete repair is also not longer available. I own the last three of these on earth. You can make to fit this emblem also for your W123 model which needs a screw and nut emblem (former part number 123 880 01 88 has been discontinued and replaced by 126 880 01 88 which is now also dead). This emblem is made of aluminum alloy with enamel insert, not plastic!

Mercedes are considering closer ties with Brawn GP [ad#ad-1] With Brawn GP wiping the floor with everything on the F1 circus this season, and particularly World Champions McLaren, it is being reported that Mercedes are seeking a closer relationship with the new darlings of the paddock. At the moment Mercedes supplies engines to Brawn GP on a customer basis. In other words, Brawn GP has to cough up the cost – which will not be insignificant.

Rice joins at a key time for Mazda, which is replacing its model range at a rate of knots. It will show the new 2 supermini at the Paris motor show in October 2014, following the 3 mid-sized hatch and 6 family car which are both less than two years old.

Irwindale, Kern County tracks coming back

Two paved circle tracks in Southern California should be up and racing by spring, good lord willing and the creek don't rise. The two facilities plan to cooperate in order to maximize the chances of success. Irwindale Speedway, now officially to be referred to as The Irwindale Event Center, had no races on its oval tracks in 2012 after the former track operators filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in February.
