Hyundai HCD-14 Concept teased ahead of Detroit. The new Hyundai Genesis saloon?
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Hyundai are teasing a new concept – the Hyundai HCD-14 Concept – which looks to be a tease for the next generation Hyundai Genesis. With the Detroit Auto Show looming, we’re going to be seeing more than a few teases and leaks for new models and new cars, and this afternoon Hyundai has come up with their first tease for the Detroit show. On offer is the Hyundai HCD-14 Concept which looks to us as if its the first official look at what will be the next generation Hyundai Genesis.
Skoda Superb Estate teased
Tue, 25 Aug 2009The new Skoda Superb Estate teased ahead of a Frankfurt launch Update 18/9/09: Skoda has now launched the Superb Estate – the Skoda Superb Combi – at Frankfurt. The Skoda Superb Estate is something of a monster estate – aimed to compete with the big Volvo estates – and is likely to come with an engine – and trim level – to suit just about any need. The Superb Estate doesn’t appear to have a longer wheelbase than its saloon sibling, but it does appear to be taller at the back, which augers well for the load capacity, which Skoda are quoted as saying is ‘Huge’.
Congestion charge to rise by 15%
Thu, 29 May 2014THE LONDON congestion charge is to rise from £10 a day to £11.50; a sudden 15% increase. The increase, the first since 2011, will take effect from June 16, Transport for London (TfL) has said, although the rate for those on the auto-pay system, and also for fleet customers, will be £10.50 per day. TfL said that customer improvements will be introduced next year, including direct debit payments for auto pay customers, online discount applications, and easier NHS patients and staff reimbursement.
