  • Auction is for 2 Honda oem 9' 4x110 lug D.I.D. alloy Wheels with bald 20' tires. These came from a 400ex but  will fit MANY more quads. These wheels with a 4x110 lug pattern and are identical on 300ex and 400ex and trx450r so these are a sure fit on those as well as  86-89 trx250r. Also fits Suzuki z400/LTZ.
  •  WHEELS: These wheels where already off when I got wheeler these came with extra parts/parts lot. They look good overall to me as far as no heavy gouges or scrapes and no dents or dings but they do have good amount of curb rash and light scrapes around lip near tire mounting area so please see pictures. Somebody put bolts in both sides of one wheel (4 on each side) not sure why/looks like just for looks?
  • TIRES: Dont remember brand but might be able to make it out in pics. They are 20' tall. They are 80 or 90% bald on center treads. One has air in it but other leaks out around bead when I tried air to it to test it. I would remove these to cut on shipping cost but I have no convenient way to remove tires so auction is for set as you see it with bald tires but price is for the wheels.
  • Shipping on this is for the lower 48 U.S. states only. Shipping is calculated based my package size and on your zip code/distance from me,and done on ebays shipping wizard and includes handling/packaging.

Giugiaro honored in Korean ceremony

Thu, 15 Dec 2011

Giorgetto Giugiaro has received honors from the South Korean Government for his contribution to the nation's fledgling automotive industry.  In a ceremony in Seoul, Giugiaro received the prestigious 'Order of Merit' from the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Myung-bak. The relationship between Italdesign Giugiaro and Korea stretches back to the 1970s, a period of significant growth for the Korean nation, stifled only by its lackluster automotive industry.  It fell to the Italian designer to invigorate an industry that survived on reassembling and rebranding foreign domestic models. Giugiaro's solution was the simple Hyundai Pony.

McLaren F1 to buy BMW F1 Engine ops

Sun, 04 Oct 2009

McLaren could be about to buy up BMW's F1 engine operations BMW are quitting F1 at the end of this season, and the Sauber team is up for sale. But the engine operations are not part of the deal. So it’s starting to look as if McLaren are looking to buy up the engine side from BMW and become a completely independent F1 car builder – just like Ferrari.
