Installation:
Congratulations on receiving your new wind deflectors! Here are the easy steps of installation:
  1. With your vehicle window down, clean the inside of the window channel (where the deflector will be).
  2. Remove the red tape seal on the window deflector.
  3. Insert the deflector into the window channel (begin by inserting into the back side of the door first - at an angle. Then insert the deflector into the front side of the door.)
  4. Secure the deflector's tape to the channel of your window. Firmly press it from end to end, rear to front.
  5. Hold the deflector while rolling your window up and down several times (to ensure that the deflector is in-place and secure).
  6. Leave the window up for 48-hours to allow the tape to seal.
  7. Enjoy your new window deflectors!

BMW 6-series Gran Coupe (2012) first official pictures

Sat, 10 Dec 2011

If you want proof that the Mercedes-Benz CLS was an influential car, look no further than the new BMW 6-series Gran Coupe, unveiled at the weekend. It's a four-door 6-series, based very closely on the Gran Coupe concept car shown in 2010. The executive car market has changed a lot in recent years, and BMW is now chasing the same buyers as the Merc CLS, Audi A7 et al.

Grab the sunscreen for those summer drives

Thu, 16 Jun 2011

You can get sunburned while driving a convertible, but driving with the top up can also result in sun damage to the skin. New research from the University of Washington suggests that people in the United States are more likely to develop skin cancer, such as melanoma and merkel-cell carcinoma, on the left side of their bodies, likely as a result of the fact that the left arm receives more ultraviolet rays while driving. Studies by the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology show that, when skin cancer shows up on one side of the body, 52 percent of melanoma cases and 53 percent of merkel-cell carcinomas occur on the left.

Bloodhound 1000mph World Speed Record attempt goes carbon neutral. Piffle.

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Richard Noble’s Bloodhound Land Speed Record attempt will now be carbon neutral thanks to sponsorship by Carbon Neutral Investments (CNI). People like Richard Noble – leader of the Bloodhound Project aiming to break the 1000mph land speed record – are made of the same stuff as Spitfire pilots and Biggles, with a gung-ho approach to the inherent dangers and an inability to contemplate failure; British Bulldog Spirit at its best. So it seems almost sad that a proper Boy’s Own adventure like the Bloodhound SSC – a 133,000bhp rocket and jet powered racing car – should bow to trendy PC sensibilities by announcing it’s a ‘Carbon Neutral’ project.
