Jaguar E-Type Engine Breather Pipe for all Series 2 EX/EM Cars

This is a vacuum pipe located on the L.H. side of the engine that connects from engine breather to the charcoal canister hose on EX/EM Series 2 E-Type engines.  Included is the original breather connector hose. See 13 & 14 in the diagram.



I am unloading my collection of parts accumulated as spares during a complete restoration of a 1970 SII roadster. The car has been sold and the parts are no longer needed.  Most of these spare parts were collected because they are becoming more and more rare and I knew some day I would need them.

Petersen museum celebrates the 50th anniversary of Phil Hill's world championship

It's been three years since the racing world lost one of its greatest heroes and nicest guys. Now, on the 50th anniversary of his world championship, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is celebrating the life and accomplishments of Phil Hill--the first American to hold that title--with a new exhibit of his cars and a gala celebration of his greatest races. First is the exhibit, assembled in collaboration with Phil's son Derek, himself a racer.

Agnelli family member to become Fiat chairman

Fiat S.p.A. said that Agnelli family heir John Elkann will become chairman and that Italy's biggest carmaker will separate its car-making business from trucks and tractors. Elkann, 34, is the grandson of former chairman Giovanni Agnelli and is vice chairman and head of the family's holding company.

Running at a secret test at the Bonneville Salt Flats, the one-off prototype, using a tweaked version of Jaguar's new supercharged 5.0-litre V8, topped even the legendary XJ220's 217mph top speed.
