Audi TT Clubsport Quattro concept car (2007): first official pictures
Wed, 16 May 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 16 May 2007 04:20 Audi TT Clubsport Quattro: the full lowdown Inspired by the Porsche 356, Audi has lopped the top off its TT Roadster to make this speedster version of its two-seater. The TT Clubsport Quattro, unveiled today in Austria, is a concept car to show how far the TT brand can be stretched, but officials freely admit that they are considering a limited production run. It's a TT like no other, squashed and squat, flattened to create a low-slung sports car for those living in dry climates where the occasional rain storm isn't a worry.
2012 Acura TSX Special Edition aimed at the younger generation
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Acura is continuing the celebration of its 25th anniversary by creating a special-edition TSX with a slant toward the track. It doesn't add any power, unfortunately, but it does attach the bits that look the part. The 2012 TSX Special Edition package comes with a more aggressive front spoiler, a new bumper fascia, unique side sills and special-edition badges on the trunk.
Seat Leon Cupra R (2009) first official pictures
Thu, 20 Aug 2009By Gareth Evans First Official Pictures 20 August 2009 10:59 Seat has unveiled its most powerful production car ever, the new Leon Cupra R, with an S3- and Scirocco R-matching 261bhp. Performance figures for the front-wheel drive hot hatch look good: 62mph is dispatched in 6.1 seconds, the top speed is 155mph, and yet the Cupra R returns 34.9mpg. Thank the high-tech 2.0 turbo engine from the Volkswagen group, which in this incarnation makes 261hp. Helping get all that power through the front wheels is XDS, the same system you'll find on the Golf GTI that effectively mimics a limited slip differential through the use of electronic wizardry.
