No damage Running Condition High Compression No metal in oil filter S/N of the engine is L-7636-76 Total Time: 1620 Hours Since New Logs from 800 hours to 1620 hours. Missing Logs from 0 - 800. Rated HP 160 @ 2700 RPM Removed from Cessna 172 in 1996 The engine is located near Hickory, NC. NOT in Minnesota. I posted this on ebay for my dad. Feds look at Toyota electronics as source of accelerator defects
Tue, 02 Feb 2010The U.S. Department of Transportation is looking into whether Toyota Motor Corp.'s problems with unintended acceleration can be traced to defects in the electrical controls rather than just the mechanical problems cited by the automaker, a Transportation official said Tuesday. “We're not finished with Toyota and are continuing to review possible defects and monitor the implementation of the recalls,” Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said in a statement.
