Mallory Dual Point Distributor #YC465HP with Tach Drive in good used condition.

I cannot vouch for this distributor, but it looks fine and the tach drive turns freely.  Distributor gears is in great shape....it looks like a typical good used distributor.

This is the "good" Mallory dual point, not like the much cheaper "YL" Series (current YL part # begins with 25).  These "YC" distributors have a 4 lobe point cam, so that, for example, 8,000 rpm, the points are only going as fast as an 8 lobe cam distributor does at 4000 rpm.  1/2 the point opening/closing per rpms....way cool!

This also has the mechanical tach drive feature for Corvette or old school mechanical tachs like Jones or Moroso.  Way cool again!

Thanks for considering my Mallory distributor.

Skoda Fabia vRS & Skoda Fabia vRS Estate (2010) revealed

Tue, 09 Mar 2010

The Skoda Fabia vRS on the floor at Geneva Well, none of us are perfect and we’ll be the first to admit we’re far from it. But it’s a bit poor that in amongst all the Geneva news we managed to miss out a report on Skoda’s hot baby – the Skoda Fabia vRS - getting revealed. Slapped wrists all round.

Tesla Model X

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Tesla is set to expand its all-electric range with the introduction of the Model X. The crossover shares a large percentage of its architecture with the Model S sedan, including its chassis-mounted battery pack and axle-mounted drive units. The Model X retains a traditional two-box configuration, which continues the brand's strategy of producing EVs that, visually, are wholly conventional.

Jaguar XF and Range Rover Evoque to be built in India

Tue, 18 Oct 2011

Jaguar XF Range & Rover Evoque to be assembled in India The news that Jaguar Land Rover are planning to assemble the Range Rover Evoque and Jaguar XF in India isn’t exactly a huge surprise. If anything, the surprise is it’s taken this long for them to get round to it. Of course, this isn’t JLR’s first foray in to assembling cars in India, as the Freelander 2 is now being bolted together in Pune now the CKD facility at Halewood is up and running.
