Hi, we bought this carburetor to use on our 1996 Maxum 2400scr , and thought we had a OMC remanufactured motor , but it turned out it was a Mercruiser Chevy block... so it didn't fit! So needless to say this did not fit our engine and we sat on it for over 6 months during the winter before trying to install it so we couldn't take it back...

This carburetor will replace your original equipment marine 4MV Rochester 4 Barrel Quadrajet for  OMC boats with the 5.7Liter / 350 CID marine engine applications. 

These carburetors have the original style OMC linkage (see pictures below) and where assembled using only the highest quality components, They feature: All new parts and gaskets including brand new choke pull-off, float, needle and seat ,castings have protective coat of black paint , brass bushings in the throttle shaft eliminate vacuum leaks, re-finished base, yellow zinc plating on all linkages and hardware to prevent corrotion and the casting plugs are sealed with epoxy to prevent leak-down into the intake manifold.

A survey released this week suggests that revised fuel economy labels proposed by federal regulators will confuse many likely car buyers -- and will emphasize the wrong information. The branding strategy firm Siegel+Gale performed an independent online survey of 456 people over the age of 18 who intended to buy a car in the next three years. Founder Alan Siegel told Automotive News that the survey was not directly requested but has been sent to the EPA and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration during the ongoing public comment period.
