For sale is a used 4 speed manual transmission that was removed from a 1952 Mercedes 300 B, but will also work on other year and model Mercedes.  The casting numbers on the side of the transmission are 183 261 0601 22.91 A.  We have visually inspected the transmission and did not see any damage or broken gears, but there is surface rust on some of the gears from sitting for a long period of time without oil in it.  The transmission does turn freely by hand and shifts thru the gears by hand.  We are selling this item as is as pictured.  Stock#1132.

Pagani releases Huayra documentary [w/video]

Italian manufacturer Pagani has put together a 14-minute documentary tracking the development of its new Huayra supercar. The short film heads to the companies that help to make the carbon and titanium-bodied Huayra, such as Italian company ASPA that creates the car's logo for an entire day out of a solid block of aluminum. The finer points of the design and development of the 230 mph car are also explored, as well as detailing how Leonardo Da Vinci inspired Horacio Pagani's original design.

Nissan GT-R 2010 UK updates

Nissan has revealed the changes to the 2010 GT-R At the Tokyo Motor Show Nissan brought along the 2010 Nissan GT-R with a raft of minor tweaks and adjustments for their supercar killing four seat coupe. We thought that they’d probably be available just in Japan to kick off with (the 2010 GT-R launches there in December) but Nissan has sent us the 2010 updates for the GT-R for the UK and Europe this afternoon, so it looks like it’s updates round the world. Just about all the changes are under the skin for the GT-R.

GM 'will lose money' on the new Chevrolet Volt

The Chevy Volt was unveiled this week amid much hoopla at GM's centenary. 'I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a situation where we make money, particularly when you load all the costs in,' Fritz Henderson, GM’s chief operating officer, told Automotive News Europe, referring to the company’s first-generation technologies.
