Provides comprehensive review of automobile including: Vital Statistics (top speed, acceleration performance, engine vitals, list price, etc…), Behind the Wheel driving impressions, Vehicle Dimensions, Development Milestones, Under the Skin engine and chassis review, Nose to Nose performance comparison to rival vehicles, etc, etc……Vivid Hi-Res photos and graphics makes for great all around reading. 4 panel/4 page sheet unfolds to 9” x 16” overall, suitable for framing. These are not regular manufacturer sales brochures made for the masses, but rather a highly detailed limited production specialized compilation previously only available by subscription. New Volkswagen Golf: World Car of the Year 2013
Thu, 28 Mar 2013The VW Golf MK 7 has been declared World Car of the Year at the New York Auto Show, beating Porsche, Mercedes and Toyota to the title. That bunch included cars like the Porsche Boxster, Mercedes A Class and Toyota GT86, so competition was strong, but just as the new Golf had triumphed as European Car of the Year 2013 the Golf was also victorious on the bigger, global stage. It’s the fourth time in five years VW’s cars have nabbed the WCOTY award, with the Golf Mk 6 taking the gong in 2009, the VW Polo in 2010 and the VW Up!

But a year is a long time in the car world, and the XJ – winner of the Chauffeur Car of the Year in 2010- has been beaten in to third place in this year’s Chauffeur Car of the Year by the BMW 730Ld. Professional Driver Magazine awards annual gongs for the best ‘working’ cars, judged by an invited panel of chauffeurs, motoring journalists and private hire operators who drive and judge the contenders during a one-day judging event.

Sat, 07 Jun 2014The new Toyota Aygo (pictured) on sale 1 July 2014 The new Toyota Aygo – Toyota’s take on the Citroen C1 / Peugeot 108 – arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and probably looks the most credible of the three. And now it’s on sale. Starting price for the new Aygo is a reasonable £8,595 for the Aygo X 3-door with a 5-speed manual ‘box, rising to £12,345 for the Aygo x-clusiv 3-door with x-shift auto ‘box.
